I ordered these mirrors from GM with nothing more than a sketch in the owners manual to go by.
They are electric with turn signals and heaters, manual fold and manual extend.
Waited 4 weeks for them, but am pleased with the looks and view.
Dealer price $360 ea but I can tell you where to get them for $160.00 each if anyone is interested.

I also received the replacement door handles from gm today, crome handles with factory white painted surround. My 4-year old knocked the tailgate one off the tailgate while I was fitting it and chipped it, oh well
with some touchup paint it will pass the 15' test also.Wish I had known they were coming, I wouldn't have had to take the front door panels off twice.

Spill the beans Wobble. I have been looking at the Schefenackers http://www.ttt-mirror.com/ but have not found anyone willing to discount them very much. I would be interested to see how the GM mirrors compare, please post your source.
Thanx

OK i give
This web site has every gm part number in the search box, but you can only lok up parts there up to 2004 I think. I found the part numbers for the mirrors on www.rv.net in the tow vehicle section
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/
Mirror 15812279 $159.76
Mirror 15812280 $159.76
Just type these part numbers into the search box. You won't find them cheaper anywhere else.
This site has the handles in six colors and many other OEM accesories http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessoriesjsp/home.jsp
Again, get the part number then go to http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ and type it in. Don't know why but they are much cheaper. A GM buddy told me that the bodyshop couldn't get them any cheaper
Escalade handle kit set of 5, 17801143 White with chrome handles except tailgate which is all white $ 204.76

The mirrors will fit 2000 on up depending on whether you have power mirrors I beleive. They are the best I have used on any HD truck, ford dodge or gm. I am very pleased with the size and looks. They took about 30 minutes a side to install.
The handles took about 20 for the taligate, 15 for each rear door and 20 for each front door.
When removing the rear door panel watch out for a screw on the bottom front edge that must be removed. Here are some instructions that work for the front doors http://www.powervisionmirrors.com/manuals/6105tk.pdf
I did not have to make any pin changes on the wiring. Not sure about 2000 - 2005 trucks.

Besides, picking the pieces is what makes it your truck. The new Duramax with six speed Allison is the Shizzle
In manual mode you can select your passing gear, let the boost build and it's instant acceleration
No waiting for the tranny to decide which gear you need.

BTW the Camper mirror shown on http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessoriesjsp/home.jsp is not the same thing, that is the manual mirror and is plain ugly IMO
