Anything to winterize on trailer
#1
Ok, we have our boats shut down for the season, but was wondering is there anything I need to do for a fresh water steel dual axle myco with surge to help her survive the layup?

If possible raise the tires up off the ground so you dont get flat spots....other then that...not realy. Put a coating of wd-40 on any exposed metal that may be prone to rust and thats it....maybe put a coating of STP or some other tire dressing that blocks UV rays and she's all good

I usually repack wheel bearings after the last use of the season to get rid of any moisture that might br present. I also use tire covers from a camper supply to protect the tires from UV(it helps).
