I Have 06 Nortech 3900 Supervee W 600 Sci . The Drives Are Its With Sportmaster Lower. We Recently Changed The Gears From 1.5 To 1.36 Due That We Were Running Out Of Pitch To Keep Motors Off The Rev Limiters And It Was Very Hard To Get On Plane . We Tested With A Pair Of 30 Pitch P5 Hydromotive Props And The Boat Seems To Like Them But They Do Not Carry The Bow No Mater How Much We Trim. Also I Need To Spin The Motors Faster. Currently I'm Only Getting 4700 Rpm And Would Like To Get To The 5200 To 5300 Rpm Range. I Have Been Told That A P5-x Should Take Care Of The Bow Lift But Do Not Know If To Go With A 29 Or 28 . I Know You Are The Expert With The Hydromotives And Would Like To Know What You Think. I Would Have These Props Labbed By You And Would Also Like To Know If You Have Them In Stock And Lead Time. Thank You Ricky

The first place to start is with your performance numbers.
What were the performance numbers with the 1.54 gears? WOT rpm, speed, what props?
What is your current performance with the 1.36 gears?
Given the power and boat you should not have run out of pitch with the 1.5 gear set. Sounds like you may have excessive slip, this would explain why the bow is not carrying and why you had to change to the 1.36 gear set.
I have P5X's in 29 pitch as test props. These would be available for you to test with. If you still can't figure it out I will be in Miami during the boat show and might be able to help if you still need assistance. Nothing beats being able to get in the boat and feel what it's doing first hand.

Matt, When I Was Running The 1.5 Gears I Did Not Have A Problem With Bow Lift. I Was Running 33 Pitch Maximus Props And Was Running 92 Mph At 5200 Rpm. The Reason We Decided To Do A Gear Change Was That It Was Running On The Rev Limiters Very Easily ( I Would Say At 70 % Throttle) . It Was Also Challenging To Get The Boat On Plane. Since The Gear Change I Have Only Run The 30 Pitch P-5 Props. I Like The Props But I Need More Bow Lift And A Bit Less Props. So I Decided To Ask You Guys Before Going Out And Trying A Set Of 30 Pitch Maximus.
Ps How Do I Go About Getting Those P5x To Try And Do You Also Do A Test Program With Maximus Props ?
