Default Teague 575's?

I am considering purchasing a boat with Teague 575's with 130 hrs on them. I am comfortable that they have been driven hard. I know that they are 509's with iron heads and this is all.

Survey the boat/compression test the motors and/or you can have the oil annalysed as well.

Teague builds strong motors! I've known several people with his motors in their boats and they run very well and RELIABLE! My buddy has over 600 hrs on his Teague 800SC's w/ regular service and valve job.

Good luck on the purchase.
