On 3a's?? I would like to try it and see what happens. I know on the Bravo's you can just run it in reverse but have been told that's a no go on 3a's. What needs to be done to try it?

Not sure about #3's, but with #6's you have to swap the drives. I'm swapping mine to spin out.....tired of looking like a 12 year old while parking! It's a bear to get around in the docks with them spinning in, but in all fairness, I didn't get enough seat time to get used to it.

Mine turn in on bravos now. Just bought the boat and havn't got it wet yet. What are the advantages to this? I hear the disadvantages. What does it take to swap back if needed?
Thanks

It's different on every boat...but usually 2-4 mph's faster spinning in.

Drain oil and change the lowers.1 gasket and no steering or trim to R&R. Turning in more bow lift. Docking will get a little
funner. I ran crash boxes turning in on a cat for 4 years.I'm
still alive.
