oh yeah, 1075's are taking over in UIM class one as well, many teams will be running them next year after a few ran them this year with great success...

Thats an interesting piece of writing, never knew they put those motors in boats, i bet they sounded awesome. One thing I did read once is that the Lamborghini co. originally started by making farm machinery. Then when the war started there was such a demand for steel and other raw materials that it was no longer profitable for them to build farm tractors and thats when they started building cars.....at least thats what i remember for some reason. If i am wrong please corrrect me. - Andrew

JUKED, somewhere on this site there is a video clip of a class one boat blowing over at high speed. in that clip you can hear the motors screaming. they don't sound anything like the ones we have here


those tractors are cool. i'de be the chit in my neighborhood with one of those

A friend of mine as ran them for years in his pleasure boat. Good Luck trying to get them rebuilt here in the U.S. They scream. I believe Don Johnson had a set. I also know that Mercury Racing did alot of testing of them in the late 80's and early 90's.
