Default Awesome cat on Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/38-Aw...QQcmdZViewItem

The ad is for an Awesome 38 cat with 502s and #5 drives. Sounds bullit proof, but what was the deal with Awesome? Are they building boats again? I thought there was some problems and they were gone.
Also, with 502s they claim 100mph. That seems a little optimistic to me.
What should it sell for?

Certainly not doubting your statement on speed for the 38', but I do know of a Lake St.Clair/Lake Erie Awesome 38 owner with a pair of Merc factory 600SC motors and it's been 106 to 108 tops. Although a true tunnel cat, it is over 10' beam and abit on the "resin" side of the scale. Speed is not it's strong point. Ride though is top shelf.

Are you perhaps thinking of the 31 Thundercat? Size of motor/HP output would be more inline with the 31 and it's size/weight. Lot's of variables. Exact HP/Torque, type of lowers/props, X dimension play into that ultimate number.
