Zul's are great. I have quite a few friends with them and have nothing to complain about. They look good, sound good, and run awesome!

We have Merc. 525EFI's and they are no slack motors either. Merc. put a lot of time into these motors, they have all the best parts in them. They are turn key, fresh water cooled, and they run on 87 octane. Resale is great too.

I don't think you could go wrong with either.

Wink Re: zul 650's vs merc 525's

We have been entering this market with our new Signature series 496 based HO525 and HO600 motors, we will be displaying our new HO725 -600 inch torque monster at the LA and Miami Shows. With its new IR electronic injection manifold and other features we will try and see if we can add an interesting new twist to the big N/A EFI market. We hope soon we will earn some of the same reputations for big power reliable N/A engines. Should be interesting when the industry see this one!! "Who are those guys anyway!!"

Best Regards,

Ray @ Raylar

How do they compare price wise?

Out of curiosity, does Zul, JC, Cobra, etc. build more big hp motors than their smaller hp offerings or the other way around?

Richie Zul just did 2 hp500efi rebuilds[upgrades] and they Dynoed around 640hp and still look stock. He made his own water cross over and he modified the throttle body . He spent a lot of time on the design and dynoing them . Mark at Precision Marine did the Box's for him.I believe this will be a reasonable package

I think I have some picks at the house of them
