Post APBA NEEDS AN X BOX GAME

If NASCAR is making a ton of dough off the PS2 and X box, then APBA or SBI should also. I would love to see a GREAT offshore race game for PS2 or X BOX. And APBA or SBI should make some dough helping out in the delevopment and marketing of the game. I just think that if it works for NASCAR, then APBA should be able to expand it's box into other things.

Hello Mike A. Try new things.

Oh, that would be sweet. They should give you the option of what class to race in and let you choose from a variety of boat manufacturers. I used to play Hydro Thunder at the arcade all the time, but it's kind of lame.

Dredge I'm with you. The APBA needs to really get out there and push there sport to the market. The have an entry level position right now and could attract major $$$ with little $$$ (for right now). It's all recognition.

They could make it a racing simulator just like the NASCAR games. You could definitely pick your boat / team and race the season. It sounds too easy to me for APBA to get some recognition.

Sounds like a good idea, but who knows what it costs. All I know is our boats are featured in a sit down game at the arcades, but they have not developed it into a home game yet... But it is funny to see our boat on a video game, kinda got a kick out of it.

If they ever get one I will buy it. I could use more games for this thing.

No one has done an offshore racing game. It seems like a logical step for APBA marketing. The Xbox has great physics in Bloodwake. Maybe it wasn't possible to make a semi- realistic water racing game before, but it's possible now. The technology is here.

If they did an APBA game it would have to be done right to sell, It should be like Grand Turismo. That game has just enough realism and enough things to tinker with on the cars.
It can't be to complex like some of the PC simulators.

I'm just picturing the game now .... "look theres a little Reggie running around with his Mr. T starter kit !!" oops , I got a little carryed away !
