That's right folks. I bought a new computer.
Ok, maybe it's not new, but slightly used. ok ok, so it's not really that new, but it works and the price was right. Actually, being the cheapskate tightwad that I am, <Gordo stops to ponder that last statement and realizes this may be the reason why he's SWT>, It was really cheap. Hey, the thing gets me online and back on the OSO board. Now I can look at all the porn sites that Tanned Fat keeps sending me.
Anyway, Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.
Now maybe I can see if "Love@AOL" really works...

Who has the slowest computer here. Mines a gateway 400 Pent II. The thing cost me 2300 bucks two years ago. How sad is that.

Just get Cable hookup. I can turn a Tandy into a rocket.

Pmichael I was thinking the exact same thing. I just picked mine up from UPS yesterday (Desktop) and it's sitting in my living room in boxes. Good to see that your back on Gordo. Hey jr I was talking to a guy yesterday and said mine was sitting in my truck and I was wondering how obsolete it was already since it's only a P4 1.8.

Living way out in the country, I wish I could get cable hook-up. I do have dish net work, but the computer hook-up is too expensive. I almost never see a 56k hook-up it's usaully around 40-45k But I'am on line
