Cross number 5 and 7 plug wires

Cross number 5 and 7 plug wires
How many believe in crossing 5 & 7 in the wiring harness to prevent cross firing in those two cylinders? .............or,is it better to use a swap fire cam?..........or,use the new corvette firing order?
