A friend of mine routinely builds engines for the 5.0 Mustang guys. He really likes the Trick Flow heads on hot street engines.

The trick flow street heat is one of the greatest heads ever with a price thats hard to beat easily making 400hp on a 306 or 500 hp on a 347 the twisted wedge head flows better at low lifts under .500 lift but the guides wear because of geometry problems and you need to pay attention to piston to valve interferons on both heads they require a piston with the valve pocket in the right location.Good luck
