I think it is the 3rd weekend in July. Same weekend as our PR out of Elk Rapids I tried to have them move the PR so I could run in both. No such luck.

YZ had posted July 22(SAT) as last day of Venetian. That would B the same day we did it last year.

Elk Rapids is a very casual PR. Not much big iron. Mostly a bunch of friends boating around the bay. Anything from Carvers to Outerlimits run in it. If your boat will break 70 that would be one of the faster boats. I know there are more offshores in the N. Mich Fun Run than in ER. We crossed paths last year. I was pretty cool. Just doesn't seem to be enough weekends in the summer to cram everything in.

yes it will be july 22nd, we will leave out charlevoix and end up in charlevoix for the venetian fireworks and boat parade. i have no idea what the route will be but no one wanted to change the final destination.
josh you are right there are not enough weekends in the summer.

I am throwing my two cents in, I wish this run would happen in August, it seems like so many things are jammed packed into July. Do you have it that weekend because of the fireworks?

I would love to come but like Todd says that is the weekend of the Chicago Poker Run Would any one be interested in a second run in mid August?
