Default looking for a new boat......

Not sure what I want.
Wife has decided the 31 formula isn't big enough. Problem is I have just about finished getting it setup like I want it. Her main requirements are a big cabin that handles rough water well. I, of course, want something with reasonable speed. Luckily she insists it be a performance boat, but what? 35-38 ft, 1997-2001, 100K budget.

So far we have ben thinking:
Sonic 38: big cabin, great ride, non-stepped/ slower.

Formula 38: we LOVE ours, but the cabin seems too small, stepped hull = reasonable speed for me.

Active Thunder 37: great all around fit for us, show me one within budget.

Powerquest 38: Like the looks, cabin, and stepped hull but how does it ride in the Chesapeake bay? Any FORMER owners that can vouch for the build quality?

What other boats should I look at?
Thanks for the input guys.

PS: boat and trailer have to fit in a 42 ft garage......

35' Nordic has great cabin space and can get close to your range.

Also a few Hustler's out there close (120-130).

I am in the same situation however, my wife only wants to go as large as 32', which does not give me very many options...
