Hi 22DonziBob,

It is for real. here is a link to the Miami Boat Show Info page.

http://www.boaterslife.com/donzi-26-zr.1613.281.335.htm

I Agree it sounds like a great boat! I can't wait to see one. or better yet ride in one.

This boat has been renamed a 27 ZR because it its over 27 feet long.

Same lines and looks as the 35 ZR

Rock solid boat and will be in Miami

Frankly I was disappointed, and I really wanted to like the boat. I was looking to upgrade from my 22ZX, and this will not be it. The cabin didn't seem to have any more headroom than my current boat, and the back seat was not comfortable at all (too upright). I also thought the build quality was off.

I also owned a 22ZX are you kidding!! The 27 ZR you can sit down stairs has a V-Berth and a porta potti, You don't have to crawl on the ground to get in the cabin like the 22 ZX beam is wider and if you look at the back seat she is almost the same as the 22 ZX the only big difference is you can stand in the 27 ZR. As far as the workmanship lets see engine compartment had a gel-coat liner no messy wires in the engine compartment heavy duty vinyl, and more then 20 sold so far and thats not bad for a new boat intro.

Boat looks good, not sure I understand the need for the big rear seat head rest.....

Check it out

To keep your head supported, they actually work very well when you are sitting. If you come off a wave and there is nothing behind you supporting your neck and head while sitting you would break your back or neck if there was nothing behind you to support.

Shanghied Again

I understand what you are saying, I guess I was thinking of the head rest from our point of view, 2 – 3 poker runs a year (they would come in handy) and every other weekend swimming, skiing, tubing and hanging out in a cove (they may be in the way). It would be great if they were an option. I can see why some people would like them but I think I would pass. the head rest would not be a show stopper

I have a friend that saw this boat at the Miami boat show and he said it was one of the best boats in the show. he thought Donzi used the space well and said it was definitely worth looking into. I hope to test drive one this summer.
