I asked for help with selecting a new trailer for my 28PQ and some of you guys said McClain.Well,THANKS! Nice trailer.I got the salt water package, all stainless bolts & coated nuts.Got fantastic service from MIKE GERALDS trailer world in Baton Rouge. Can't say enough about Mike,David Richard and the staff over there.Good old fashioned service with a "is there anything else we can do"attitude.Good people. Thanks Mike,David and staff. Very glad to hear this.
I am quite happy with my McClain Trailer. I think they build a unique and great piece in a very cluttered market space.
Pics of mine can be seen here. I bought the boat/trailer from ToddW here on OSO, who did all the research, and I am very pleased as a second owner.

Had me wait in the shop for about an hour as they juggled around to see who was going to tell me they didnt want to spend the effort to help or even look at the trailer, (probably my fault for taking the receptionist, or who ever the trained monkey they had answering the phones word that they would wait on me, but to make matters worse, the manager or assistant manager,or highest level shop hand left for the day,,whoever he was (blonde short haired skinny guy with tattos up and down each side of his arms),,, obviously was clueless as how to handle the situation, just started raising his voice to me, kinda suprised me because after all I had be patiently waiting for about an hour as they juggled through the "ohh I dont want to do it's" and "its not my jobs" But again I told him calm down and that price was no option just give me a hand because Im quite away from home and dont really know too much about axles,, He just looked me square in the eyes and said I quote " I dont care if you have a million dollars, we are about to close!??!" Hmm its about 3:15pm, I had stood there waiting for an hour, I had called ahead two and ahalf hours earlier WTF!? I just told the guy thanks,, of course many other things came to mind, dayum I wish I could remember his name,, but in my opinion it was not worth remembering. Of course in their defense I did not have a McClain Trailer, and I was not buying a new trailer that day, but still,, there is a way to treat people and to do business, thus you will never catch me with a McClain trailer, because of this one jackazz at the baton rouge store.
Hhehe , thanks for letting me vent, that has been bothering me for a while.
