www.topgear.com Check out in the "Features" section, there is a write up on powerboating being cool again. Lets have some feed back on what people think of this.

Top Gear article said:
Misty-eyed motor racing fans often lament the passing of the 70s. Viewed through rose-tinted aviator shades it can seem like a lost, golden era of edgy glamour. But in the obstinately macho world of powerboat racing, the 70s never ended.
They must of saw Reggie Fountain!!!

Interesting article with a European point of view.

Personally, I never thought it wasn't cool to have a loud, long, obnoxious powerboat.

In the same way that there's not much talk on here of the race circuits in Europe! And it all started here. 1903, Harmsworth trophy, England to France.

The 'rest of the world' is a big place.

I watch as often as it is on TV, the U.I.M races on Men TV. It is tough to get that stuff here in the Toronto area. I like watching the RIB boats as much as I do the offshores. I try to keep on top of what Randy Scism is doing over there, Negotiator did well this past year. Pretty cool to watch the races from over seas. Would love to go and see one, most likely in Dubi. Looks like they put on a good show. $$$$ Amazing stuff!!!
