my 30mariah lists to the right when under power. it dosnt matter if i have a full load or just myself. full of fuel or empty. i'm wondering if the bravo 3 could be out of alignment. i've never had the drive servised(i've had the boat 1 year). i plan on having it servised when i get home from florida. it dosnt matter if i have a cross wind or it's dead calm/glassy conditions! btw, it's done it since i bought it last year. what do you guys think?

Drive alignment has nothing to do with it. You don't actually move the drive when you align them, you actually move the motor so that the input shaft lines up with the coupler. My first guess would a weight issue, doesn't a 30' Mariah have some holding tanks? I guess if it only does it under power you could have a problem with the shape of your bottom, maybe a big hook or rocker or one of the strakes could be damaged. Has the boat ever had any repairs to the running surface from an accident?
Those are the areas I would look first. figure out where all the holding tanks are and make sure you are loaded equally, than start looking at you bottom.

when i fist hung my drives, the rams on one of the drives were loose... and i didn't notice such that the while the indicator said the drive was at x angle it was actuall substantially different and that gave me exactly the symptom you describe... stopped that one drive from flopping around and problem disappeared

bottom looked straight when i waxed it. there are no holding tanks that i know of. the apulstry was removed on the listing side in the cabin when i bought it. maybe theres some drugs stashed in there!(lol) i'll check the rams on the drive. it seems like the listing is getting worse. the funny thing is when it sits at the dock it sits level. hope i can get this resolved! thanks for the replies!!

might ALSO mention that was flying along at 65 mph when this big list started and i though " HOLY SH**" the drive is falling off again...
close but not quite...looked down at indicator ( after i could focus my eyes) and one drive was all the way in while other was still trimmed out..... had failed a hydraulic line on the ram and had allowed the rams to collapse etc.... like i say... did same thing...

i do have tabs but put them on late this past summer to try to fix the problem.
i didnt have a chance to check the rams yesterday. it was windy and cold so i didnt go in the water. i did check the resivour for the trim. it's super milky. looks like choklet milk. could that be the problem? if so how do i flush out the bad fluid while the boat is in the water? thanks for the input guys! keep it coming!!
