I'm looking at a possible trade on my 357 for this 353. The Volvos kind of worry me. Is the price high with the Volvos?

I would think that cruising speed and fuel effeciency for the 500dpx would be better than the Merc 500. Anyone ever seen a fuel burn chart for the Volvo 500?

CSpray has them is his 382 and swears by them. He also has one in his Batboat. Do a search for CSpray and Volvo and you'll find some info.

Your right Trout.....I thought he was talking about Volvo DPX Drives not the motors....guess i should have fully read the post


and Chuck has even bigger power in the Batboat.....with the Volvo drive.

Thanks guys. The $165k is definitely out of whack. The seller knows it and would let it go for less. What do you think a good deal would be for this boat considering the Volvos?

DPX drives..I was looking at a scarab last year..I called Volvo about parts availability. Not good. You should call and check it out yourself.
