My buddy Johno bought a new 29 last year. He is very pleased with the boat, and very happy with the way the company treated him.

I own a 2003 23' Renegade CC and love it. It has a Merc 250 efi and will easily top 55 mph. Good in 2' chop as long as your on top and trailers pretty easy because of the light weight. I bought mine used so no experience with Renegade personally. For the price/performance formula they can't be beat. Carreras and Glasstream were also on my list but never pursued after Renegade test ride. Good luck

We shot them an e-mail for a boat and the reply was not very pleasing. They didnt care about us unless we were spending 80k.

Wow, that's unusual in my experience. Try calling Nery , rather than sending an e-mail. I gotta call this week & will I will mention their response e-mail.
