Default Insurance older boat (yes again)

Will anyone insure a 1987 357 formula without a survey.. I already own the boat and dont see the need to pay 600+ for a survey just to satisfy the insurance company, tho i understand why they need it, i'd just rather have 600 dollars of gas money

Do have any surveys for your vessel? They should accept survey if it was within the last 3 years. Some insurance requires survey every 3 years. It suck's but you can usually work with the surveyor to get the value you want within reason.
