Default Lifting engines

Can I lift my fully assembled 502 with accessories with a carb lifting plate bolted to an aluminum manifold.I'm concerned that the bolts would pull out.I have a lifting sling but to many things in the way to get bolted up.

Thanks Nordic95

Nordic,
I had the same question last week when I had a 468 pulled out. The carb lifting plate worked OK, even with the exhaust manifolds still on. I was nervous about stripping the manifold-but it worked OK!
