Default 2007 Denali XL

Thoughts? Tired of my rattle trap Excursion... will this vehicle realistically tow a 32 Activator at about 7000Lbs loaded up?

Truck has 380 hp, 420trq and a 7900 capacity....

Please...do not get me started.....you already have the mercedes....so get a nice dually....that thing is a turd for towing...period...of course you can tow it...but your going to be hauling azz all over the place.....so when you get jammed up....hauling azz.....the answer is no.....even though it is light and a single....your going to be moving! ....lets wait for the peanut gallery for the rest of the report ..

2500s are nothing more than a 3/4 ton turd for towing a landscape trailer

1st of all the number designations (1500,2500,3500) are nothing except payload capacity. i used a tahoe to tow a 30 spectre about 60 miles and it was horrible. depending how far and how often you tow is important as well. i have a 30 outboard spectre and tow 2-3 times a week approx 5 miles round trip and have gotten lucky, have used tahoes, durango's etc...just purchased an F-250 xtra cab with a 7.3 and dont even know it bag there. just my .02. the denali will get the job done "BUT" its definately not the optimum vehicle

If you must have a GM SUV, get the 2500 Yukon XL or 2500 Suburban and ONLY get the 8.1L (if its still available). The 6.0L SUCKS ASS and as much gas as the 8.1L.

The 32 Activator is a single engine narrow beam boat, so its not like towing a 31 Sonic with twin big blocks. However, you can never have too much truck. I ran with an 'adequate' setup and legal setup for a couple years. (2500 Avalanche rated to tow 12K lbs. towing 12K lbs.) Now that I have a 1-ton dually, I would not tow with anything else.
