Default What is the preferred RPM for Power vs. Reliability?

I am running 2 502's. The cam and intake are matched for peak power at around 6k to 6500. Is this a good place to run the motors for reliability as well as power? Or would running them at a lower RPM say 5400 help them to last longer. 6k just seems like they are screaming back there.

I guess I'm looking for the sweet spot RPM vs. Power vs. Longevity.

My motors are 502's 9.5 : 1, Air gap intakes, Thunderbolt ignition with MSD Coils, Holley 850's, Gil manifolds, Gm Rec Heads, pocket ported and gasket matched.

Thanks Rob

The 5400 would be my recommendation, you can always prop for 5800 just in case you feel the need!!
