well been toying with the Idea of uping my 500 hps they right now have been dynoed at 565 hp was wondering what you guys would recommend for a blower carb package to get me to 700. I know I need other bottom end and piston cam work but just want to research the blower carb first

what got them to 565? Did you up the compression? From what I understand, they have forged pistons anyway. Im putting prochargers on my 500s and hoping for at least 700. I would think that by putting M3s on them you would be there easily. PM Cigdaze. He has a nice low hour set for sale.

8-71's and 825 Demon blower carbs....Probably make 700 at 3-4# of boost. Cheap and easy to tune. I would leave the bottom end alone and you really don't need a cam change if you're only looking for an honest 700HP.

Chief got 700 out of mine with Blower Shop 250's.
When we completely rebuilt them they made 680 at 5500 and we were conservative with the set up. A bigger blower spins slower and less heat but I wanted to keep everything as low profile as I could.

Why only 700 HP? That's a great engine to supercharge; with more boost and an intercooler 800 HP is easy . Lowering compression and a bigger cam are not necessary. Nickerson single blowthrough carb needs practically no tuning, just pay attention to the fuel supply system and ignition system.
