Default Drive spacer results

Installed a 1.5" spacer and went for a ride today. Picked up 2 mph cruise, and only got .5 mph top end. However, my top speed today was with 3/4 tank of gas, compared to an almost empty tank prior.

Top speed today was 89 mph @ 5600 rpm

Handling was a little different, but still felt "stuck"to the water. I need some more seat time find trim sweet spots and compare rpm/speed numbers.

Cool! it sounds like you will soon be running over 90...
After you burn off some of that $3.50 per gallon gas anyway...

Hey K, will you be out at your summer house on June 24th?
It does not sound like Summer Superfest is going to happen down on the south shore that weekend. Maybe it's a good time to gather at Claudio's again...

Little by little. Next I'll see about the prop, then a nose cone.

Probably about 750 hp. I did not dyno after the Whipple install. I'd like to get 2 seasons out of the motor, then take it back to JC for an overhall.
