Default Chips for electronic management on Yanmars

Im building a new Nortech 4300 boat but with twin Yanmars (480hp) & ASD-8's this time. What I'm looking for is some type of engine management done with electronics, like on my diesel trucks. What has to be done due to these diesels having electronic fuel vs mechanical. How do you turn these up. Is there any co. that add more power reliably, say just 50-75hp. Thanks for the help. Jeff

I would start talking to companys like Edge and bully dog, they make the chips and see if they know anything about them.

The 480 can very safely be truned up to 600. Last I heard everything you needed was available direct from Yanmar for like $2500 an engine.

Try Legendary Marine. They are out of Destin Florida. Number is (850)337-8300. ask for someone in service not parts, They will get you lined up with what you need then you can order it from their parts department.
