I'm hoping to put things back together this week and need help with the intake choice. I have a performer 2.0 and a torker II. Motor specs: 8.9:1, 800 cfm carb, stock 049 heads (large oval), XE268 cam, revolution marine exhaust. Boat is a Cig 20 with merctrans/trs. I want to keep max rpm's around 5000-5200. The torker ports match the heads better in size. The performer ports look more matched to small oval port heads. I ran the perf for 70+ hrs and it worked OK, but have nothing to compare to. Would the torker work at my planned rpm range? Should I stick with the performer? Try to sell both and get something like an rpm airgap? $wise, I'd rather use what I have, if possible. Thanks for any help/info/opinions!

I really don't like either for a performance build, but if I was forced to use on or the other and considering all your other parts, I'd try the Torker II.
Check plugs - there will prob be some tuning changes going from a small dual plenum to a small single plenum intake.
