Default How much weight = How much speed

I have 2 gas tanks in my 28 Pantera 110 gallons under the cockpit floor and 60 gallons in the cabin under the V berth. The gas in the front tank is 2 years old, I'm siphoning out the old gas now (hand pump) My question is how much speed will I pickup if any and will it handle any different ?

I think Joe put that tank in as balast Brian, with those big blocks you may need that back half full or using more tab. Does the valve not work ?

I'm go to try running it with just 30 gallons up front and see how it runs. The front valve doesn't seam to be working. Thanks for posting the pic. Lets see some pics. of your new ride.

Gas is around 6lbs a gallon. Basically for every 100 bls you lose in front of the helm you gain around 1mph.
