Came in from a nice run on saturday. Then I decided to see if I could reprop my boat from the dock. When I laid down on the dock I noticed 1 blade on one of my 4 blade SS props snaped clean in half. I never felt a thing while out, never hit anything that I know about and no other blades damaged at all, just half of one blade snapped clean off. Has this ever happen to anyone, could it be a defective prop blade, or is this just one more of the mysteries in my life of boating.

Seen/heard high hp high rpm boats sling a blade or two. Poor fish
Also, some labbed props can do this after many years. Some lab a lot thinner than others.
Good news is that you found it now vs years later.

well at least I'm not crazy, it seems like it has happen before to others., I swapped out props today. Like I said every blade is perfect not even a nick, except one blade that is snapped in half
26p 4 blade bravo 1 prop.

Believe It Or Not, Not At All, I Wouldn't Have Even Known If I Didn't Happen To Look At Props. The Only Thing I Did Notice Was At Cruising Speed The Boat Was Lean A Little To One Side And I Couldn't Correct It With Trimming But I Chalk It Up To Having 5 People On Board And 2 Are A Little Lets Say Plump But No Vibration At All
