A 60' Paul Mann custom sportfish went down at the White Marlin Open in NJ. The cause is unknown but all were rescued by competitors with no injuries.

Bummer for that guy. Looks like it went down slow and level. Kind of odd...

How far out were they? Are they all too proud to hook up a line and start dragging that thing into shore? I would think as avvid fishermen; they knew of a place that is 5-6' deep and they could have dragged it there and anchored it.

There are no shallow spots in the open Atlantic and just think about the extra weight of the water. Thats no joke I wouldn't offer my boat for that tow. As long as the crew is safe who really cares about the boat. In situations like this the saving of lives is the only thing that matters.
