For the first time I have experienced mildew on my boat covers. I use the cockpit cover which has to two support poles and then the full cover on top. I have mildew between the two covers and in isolated places on the top cover. These covers are supposed to be Sunbrella. I want to remove the mildew without damaging the covers. I know bleach will revove mildew but I also know it can be pretty hard on fabric. Has anyone out there had any experience with this?

I spread mine out on the driveway, scrubbed it laundry detergent, and hosed it off. You can treat the sunbrella with a 303 product if you think it needs it.

What is a 303 product? I can't believe no one else has had mildew problems on their boat cover.
