Tenn River Best southern freswater boating
My wife and I took my 28 Skater to the Tenn. River this weekend .Unbelievable place to run!We ran a total of 270 miles,(160 gals.and 4 gal of merc prem oil ) from Guntersville dam to Nickajack dam and back each day.Water was calm to 18''chop very little traffic the whole way sometimes we would run 30 min without seeing any boats.the channels are very big and well marked .No tash or logs ,saw two sticks that was it.Beautiful scenery the whole way. Downside only saw one performance boat a Baja going about 60 as we cruised by at 80 
Can`t wait to go again and go through a few locks for a Long cruise.
