There is also a temp gauge on each riser at the base rear that will sound an alarm if no water is going thru the pipes causing them to overheat. You can usually smell the rubber exhaust hose begin to heat up as well. It will not show on the dash temp gauge which only indicates the temp of the collant inside the engine itself. Can be a good indicator if for some reason you left your dump valves pressurized and put it in the water and don't catch the bilge pumps kicking on.

If that's the case, perhaps your impellers are not pumping well anymore and can intermitently sound the riser alarms.

In some cases I have seen that when you turn the key on and go right to cranking to start it you will sometimes get that type of deal. If you turn the key on and wait for the fuel prime to stop beeping then start it and see if the alarm goes away. I have also seen where the sea pump doesnt pickup water right away and will set the water pressure alarm off.

Just a thought, ya know!?
