I put on my 1050 nickerson carb today, but w hen I turned it over it reved up high, so I am taking off the throttle cable in the morning and see if thats the problem could a bad seal cause vacum and make it rev high?? the carb looks awsome so I will work on it sunday, was hoping to take it out cable is merc with carb plate hand made bracket opps carbs are not my thing

I think you'll like your carb once you get whatever it is adjusted. I had two 1050s done this year - nice!

My 1050 works flawless also. 2 years on it, never a problem.
