Guys -

Can anyone tell me what my 2000 30 Spectre with twin 300 Merc Promax's and triple axle aluminum trailer will weigh? I'm going to attempt to pull this with a Yukon Denali (towing capacity is 8500 pounds). Would the boat alone weigh about 4500 pounds?

My 30 is on an Aluminum tandem axle trailer and the weight going over the scales is somewhere between 6 and 7000 pounds depending on fuel load. You shouldn't be close to 8500, 4500 might be right for the boat depending on what you have in it for supplies and fuel.

I had a 30 spectre with 300's before I bought my 32.
I towed it with an 02 tahoe with a 3:42 gear and the 5.3 and it pulled it great. Plenty of power.
No problem at all.
Your Denali will probably do better.
