00 42 tiger, fresh motors, 600 hp xrs and 26 p 4 blades.

While running everything stops at 5K, have checked the rev limiters, they are at 5800 am checking throttle stops today, the boat runs great but dont know why it hits the wall. I figured with the 26's I would be bumping the limiter but I'm way off. Will having too small of a prop do this?

Rob, I had the exact same issues with my Tiger. I had mufflers on that really restricted me. We gutted them and picked up 4mph. My Tiger was REAL sensitive as to which prop it ran with. It finally came to life with 29" 4 blade merc racing labbed props. I mean it jumped to life compared to any other prop we tried. I still have those props, but they are for a B1 not XR shaft. I pulled my hair out trying different setups. I was pushing close to 700 hp and couldnt turn more than a 26 at one point. Las Mesa and Miamiboys Albert worked hard to test and dial the boat in.
