Conections on a Ski Boat
#1
I have a guy at one of the shops I do business with that is looking for a Ski boat for his lake house in Michigan. He has a deck boat that he needs to get ride of and would like to buy a new Ski-Natigue(spelling). I told him I would throw it out there and see if any body could help on either the purchase of the new boat or the sale of his old boat...Anybody ?????

Bob, I belive my friend and neigboor is in real tight and close friends with the dealer here. If you still want, I will check with him to see if he has connections. They make a nice ski boat. Ski boats have gotten outta sight in price and they seem to hold their value. When we were looking several years ago we wound up buying new because the used ones were priced so high.
I had two friends that had Tige both did not have good luck, but that was about 5 yrs ago maybe they have improved.
In fact one went to court and sued over the lemon law

I just remembered he has connections with Supra not Ski Nautique, which is made by Correct Craft, our other neighbor did get a brand new SN last year from a dealer out of Flint, he traded in a Master Craft and seems to like the Nautique better.
We have good connections with Malibu, that's what we have, we have had the boat since 94 and I think Ian has only has about 3 hrs of work on it, that thing just runs without any problems. Wish I could say the same thing for the Black Thunder

Bob,
A good friend of mine works at the Mastercraft dealership in Louisville, KY. I can hook he and your buddy up if he's interested in a MC and the location isn't too far away.
If he's looking for a new boat, they run from $35,000 - $75,000 depending upon purpose and options. A sraight inboard ski boat will be nearer the lower end while the top of the line wakeboard boats with tower/killer stereo, etc. will be closer to the high end.
In my opinion, if he is wanting a quality boat, I'd go Mastercraft, Nautique and Malibu in that order.
