Stopping the DING-DING-DING Sound
Does anybody know how I can stop the "dinging" alarm when I leave the key in the ignition on my 2001 Chev Pickup? It drives me crazy. Can't even have it on "ACC" with the door open. There must be a way to defeat it.

I've got a 1996 chevy truck and took the whole buzzer assembly out......then the seatbelt reminder didnt work so i took the buzzer assembly appart and took out the buzzer out....now everything works properly and no more buzzer

it tells you in the owner man.. its something crazy, like open the window, shut the window, click your seatbelt 8 times, close the door, open the door.. im serious.. check your man, its in there......... tantrum did it, it took a few times toget it right but he got it to shut off....
