Can you make 700 foot pounds of torque on a 540 with 502mag fuel injection and stock heads.

Not without a supercharger.

Or without nitrous....

Or without a ton of compression......

If this is a trick question and you've already done it please show us proof and tell us how you did it.

Well that really stinks!! I was possibly looking at gong the Natural Aspirated route.

So what kind of torque can you make with 10 to 1???

I'm getting ready to tear down a pair of 500EFI's using the stock Injection system (bigger injectors), aluminum heads, AND punching it out to 540's........I won't hit 700HP or TQ. (but hopefully close!!!!!!)

My carb 540 made 678 TQ and 667 HP
9 to 1 and a hyd cam with AFR heads
I'm sure there are guy's getting that 700 TQ with a little more compression and cam .

What is the limit as far as horsepower and RPM with the mag EFI system? When do you sell it and go carb?
