Default Seadoo RXT vs Yamaha FX waverunners

Looking to pick up a new waverunner. I like the 215 horse Seadoo RXT but am told that the Yamaha FX cruiser HO with 160 horsespower is alot more reliable ,rides better and is put together alot better. What do you guys think? Which is the better one to buy?

I own both models and am happy with them. The Yamaha does ride better and has more than adequate power. However, if you want a challenge with tons of torque, you would definitely prefer the RXT.

I wish our Seadoo "Sportster" had the RXT(Supercharged 215 HP) engine, I think it would make it even more fun!

My brothers RXT has had 2 supercharger failures. Always been a fan of Yamaha and Honda, doesn't Honda have a new high-performance PWC?

Ok,
Then maybe I'm glad I don't have the RXT engine!

Wait until next spring and buy this. Kawasaki just announced a new Ultra 250 3-seater with a roots supercharged 250HP engine! Those that rode the factory demo unit reported GPS speeds between 71 - 72 MPH!

I have had Kawasaki's, Seadoo's and Yamaha's. None the particular models you speek of, but the Yamaha was the best all around machines I have used. This is going as far back when I used to race standups and several had a couple sitdowns.

I would rate them overall:

1. Yamaha
2. Seadoo
3. Kawasaki
