my 454/365 mag with 18hrs just started developing a skip once it warms up. Wires are good, cap and rotor look ok, compression about 160 across the board. Coil perhaps?

Could be the coil. Check with a timing light in the fault situation and see if you have consistent spark.

When is the miss????? idle, wot, under heavy acceleration, intermittent????
