Probably rated for 7500lbs. with a Weight Distributing hitch.
If you upgrade the hitch to a Putnam XDR, you could be rated for 7500lbs. Weight Carrying.
HOWEVER, Thinking you are probably going to tow with your wife and loved ones aboard, and your boat behind you... think of the consequences. I would not want to tow more than 5000lbs. with that truck. That MAX.
Go for the 2500 if you feel you need the big GM SUV to tow.

I towed my 9000 pounds boat with a short 2004 denali and it was perfect. My best truck ever by far... But when I hooked the Formula on it... F 35-7, 1260 pounds tongue weight... starting to accelerate on stop or red light the front wheels would spin on asphalt very lightly and I could hear them spinning. Besides that... Best truck ever!

I would not be afraid to do this. If a dealer/sales manager pushes back, walk away. If you are purposely buying a truck to tow a certain load, you need to know its capabilites before you own it.
