CMI Exaust on 288 496HO
Has any one installed a set of CMI Headers on a 496HO? If so did you gain any MPH. I was told by the guys at Trick Marine that they have been told they were getting 4-5 MPH after installing them. I would hate to spend $4,000. just to make more noise.

I have been seriously considering the same thing, but for 4K... man!. A little more and you can add a raylar kit for guaranteed 525.
I was in a run with a guy who added them to his 32 Dominator with twin HO's and the boat was fast, said he gained 4-5 out of it, but im don't know of anyone with a single HO sun that has tried it.
Hopefully someone will chime in.
