I am running the 454 mpi in my 29 OL, what RPMs should these motors turn at top speed? Also what props should I run?

Thanks!

Assuming you're talking about the 310 hp models I think they were rated for 4600 rpm. My dad had a '97 29 Outlaw with carbed 7.4 Mercs (300 hp) and ran 25" Mirage 3 blades. They would blow out coming on plane if you let them rev over about 3500 but other than that they were great props. Had a nice cruising speed (50 mph @ 3600 rpm) and ran upper 60's on top end.
