I have been appointed to a committee to come up with a safety plan for boat races, jet ski races and regattas on Lake Anna in Virginia. We are looking for others who know of any established racing safety programs. They are trying to establish speed and noise limits on our lake. We are trying to fight this by proposing a safety plan for these events. Actually they are trying to get a Virginia statewide laws established for speed limits and noise restrictions. Anybody willing to lend a hand or just a voice in fighting this please contact me

dont know if this will help.we have a small lake close by and the have certain speed area's also they have a horsepower limit and they also check mufflers as to have some type of restriction they also put a time that you are aloud to go fast only during daylight.this gives them alot of reasons to give out tickets to make alot of money for the state so you should be careful what your end results are.i will check with a friend to see if there is a safety probram good luck with this!!!!!!!
