Thumbs up LIVE Broadcasting "Behind the Cameras"

Here is a little something I thought people should see.

I got up early Sunday morning and found my way to the TV Production Camp.

This will give some insight to just how big of a deal it was to make LIVE Broadcasting happen.

I wanted nothing more than to recognize these people behind the scenes that were making Offshore History.

Every one of them was very helpful with allowing me access to their playground...

Enjoy the Slideshow:

Live Broadcasting "Behind the Cameras"

I put the photos in a sequence that shows how the footage is captured then brought through each piece of equipment.
Such as from the cameras via the antennas to the to the receiving trailer which then processes the signals and sort of multiplexes all of the devices and sends it over to the second trailer through the sound room, editing and recording then finally pushes the signal out via satellite.
Really amazing stuff. I only wish I had the time to be there when everything was in motion LIVE.

I worked for a year at Rogers Cable Television on a film review show on their public access channel. It was both fun and hectic covering the Toronto Film Festival....... I know how to use all that equipment and I have an idea I'm working on........

Need: Servers, Post equip., Camera's, transmission equip, basic misc. stuff (gaffers tape, etc) and communication's (voice over IP phone connection via a terrestrial microwaved T1 line between the race site and OSO). Need at min; 8 people crew, two RV's and a satellite truck, two helicopters and a couple of boats with cam ops stationed near the course.

I'll have a budget shortly..............

My Brothers company:
IT solutions company, building successful long-term business relationships, since 1994. IRG specializes in the development of a wide range of Internet communications services, custom IT solutions, and software which enable clients to manage content, and their Web site quickly and simply.
I'm helping him buy out his 2 partners and I have an idea based on his resources and skills. Hint I think there maybe something that could be done via the internet with niche' sports broadcasting on the net!!!!!!!
