I think there were 2 Scarab KAAMA's...

Howard Arneson's "SEA SWEEP" is another.

And Tom Gentry's "AMERICAN EAGLE". This is the boat that broke it's nose off in the 1980 Benihana Grand Prix...T2X has the videos.

Sea Sweep was sold to Walter Ragazzi in 1983,and became Hublot and much more others names in the eighties.
Others Scarab 38' was the two Cook's Kaama,two Ippolito,s Michelob Light,the Gentry's American Eagle,the Arneson/Garcia's Sea Sweep,the Clauser's Satisfaction,the Copeland's Popeye's then became Honcho..... I don't remember of others.

I know this is kind of off topic but i grew up going to the lake in a scarab excel and was wondering if scarab is still making performance boats? I was looking at wellcraft's web site and all I saw in the scarab section was fishing boats. Could some one please clearify this for me, Thank you.

Wellcraft no longer makes Scarab's. Check the Scrab forum for more information.
