I know they ran motors built by this company in RioRose at the Washington race and at least on other race. The boat was fast as he!! but had mechanical issues. Im guessing these were the same motors they ran down in Jacksonville pokerrun.

They ran stellings supercharged 1500's for the jacksonville run. The new motors were twin turbo 2200 hp with 2200 ft/lbs of torque. I do not remember the company name off hand. They featured the turbo motors on Powerboat Tv.

Read the patent- refrigerating air charge/ combustion chamber temp. (adiabatic effect) may not be a new concept.... but this guy has put it into effect with dramatic results and the thermal efficiency is significantly improved. I've always thought it was a bit goofy to tone an engine way down to low compression (low thermal efficiency) then just ram a bunch of air and fuel back in to make horsepower. All you tech heads, what's the down side besides what mentioned in the patent (piston ring pressure)?

The Guy Building Those Motors Is Using Rio Roses As A R And D Boat And Paying The Bill To. It Not Really A Reggie Thing. When It Left Keywest It Was Going Back And Having The Sterlings Taken Out And Another Set Of These Motors Are Being Put In. If They Stay Together They Are Doing A Kilo Run In January.
