Is everyone elbows deep in projects or is the Wife/GF keeping the reins pulled in on you guys?
Lets hear some grudge match stories or plans for this season.
Personally, I'm installing Whipples on my 29 Outlaw & plan on starting the season off at Lake Travis in April for a poker run.

Today is the first day of rest I have had at work in about 3 months. I finally got cought up enough to spend some time day surfing.
Most of my upgrade plans this winter are hopefuly going to be to my new to me truck. As far as the boat goes, I am picking it up from the dealer tomorrow so I can give it a good detailing and put her to bed for the season. After spending about $15,000 grand on the house in the last 2 months, I am a little low on boat upgrade funds.

After getting a new 30OL a month ago I am now in the middle of enlarging my boat garage so the new boat fits. Project was going along as planned then---------someone says--why don't you build me a sewing room too????? So I'm now in the middle of building a sewing room also so the boss can start making those hatch covers everyone likes so well to keep the vinyl clean and cool and to protect it when people walk over your boat. No plans to do anything to the boat except use it and get used to those twins. Truck doesn't need any work--it's a DODGE!!(might feed it a ford or chevy so it can keep it's strength up

Ooohhh here we go.
Dock has given me grieff already about my change from Dodge to Ford. I have owned Cummins powered trucks for a long time. I sold my 2005 so I could free up some money for the house, now that that is done, the wife gave me the go ahead to get into a diesel again. I wanted another Dodge with the NV5600 6-speed and could not find one I liked. I sumbled onto the Ford and really liked it. The deal on it was sweet so we sill see how it goes. I have owned 37 vehicles in the last 14 years, I rarely keep one over a year or so, odds are I will be back in a Dodge down the road. It won't be newer than 2005 though, you can't get the NV5600 past that year.

I'm really suprised at Dock. Anyone that knows as much about boats as he does and then to find out that he owns a Ford--it's just unbelivable. Someone must have mislead him along time ago or he is just misguided and afraid to face the truth about how much better Dodge is over ford. Maybe we should see if we can arrange for some kind of counselling for him--I hope there hasn't been any permanemt damage done, however you never know when your dealing with older people

(But we still love ya Dock in spite of your apparent weakness)

WOW--I guess that counselling session needs to be a group session. I had no ideas there were so many misguided people. Maybe the problem with your Dodge was behind the steering wheel--not infront of it. This is my 3rd Dodge 4x4 diesel and I still love it--except for the lift pump and the transmission and the--and the--and the--oh well nothing is perfect---and it's still better than ford(found on road dead)!
Its going to be a long winter it looks like
This is almost as much fun as towing a ford home

P.S. I really don't care what you drive as long as there's a Baja behind it
